I think Maxx knew his "dad" was getting ready to leave...he never got more then 6 inches away from him :)
Later, we went to the garden and picked a few squash...we picked some the other day too. They are so good! Sydney and Carter like them too! We are still waiting on the green beans, corn, tomatoes, peppers, cantaloupe and watermelon! Mmmmmmm....
We got in the pool this afternoon...Carter was in the water and a bee or something stung him on top of his head! He got out screaming so I got some ice for him. Then I got the net and scooped up the random bugs floating in the water. He finally got back in about 5 or 10 minutes later.
About that time Sydney was in the water and I saw her flinch...something stung her on the back of the neck and she started screaming!! She swam quickly to the steps and got out then something else stung her leg! More screaming!! It was quite a scene...they were done at that point and so was I!
I don't think it was "real" bees that stung them but those little black sweatbees...one got me in the water last year. When I was scooping the water I didn't see any big bees floating. Who knows! But it was a crazy day at the pool!!
