a hiking we will go...

We decided to venture back up to the peaks again this week. Since Kevin was with us, we took the bus up to the top of Sharp Top...Sydney and Carter were excited to ride on a bus :)



We walked up to the very top of the mountain...Sydney said, "Wooooah, Cool!!" Carter asked if we could see the beach from up there! Ha Ha...I wish bud!!





It is pretty cool view when you get to the top!

Kevin helped Carter climb on the rock...


There were a bunch of nasty bugs flying around at the very top...it was so annoying!


Once we walked down a few steps the bugs weren't so bad...awesome view of the lake and restaurant!


Then we proceeded to walk the 1.5 miles back to the car! You would think going down would be easy but there are lots steps and rocks to climb down...my legs were shaky near the end! Sydney skinned her knee up once but we all made it back in once piece! It took a little over an hour! Well worth it though! :)
