First snow of the winter!

Saturday afternoon it started snowing a little bit. I didn't think much of it since we weren't really expecting it. But after an hour or so it was starting to turn white outside! Sydney asked me a couple if times if it was Christmas yet since it was snowing!

Carter was taking a nap but Sydney and I ventured outside for a little bit. She was trying to catch snowflakes on her tongue. I never said anything about it...I'm pretty sure she remembered it from A Charlie Brown Christmas.

Our Sunday School Christmas party was that night and we didn't get to play long because I had to take them to Grandma's house for the night. It was not a fun ride...although it wasn't much snow on the ground, the back roads were snowy and the lightest tap on the brake would set off the anti-lock brakes and we were sliding! I had a death grip on the steering wheel while Sydney was in the back saying, that was fun! Yeah right!!
